Celebrate Community and Tradition at Hammond Fair

Join us this year on September 11th and 12 at the Hammond Fairgrounds to experience youth projects, livestock showcases, crafts, and more, highlighting the best of St. Lawrence and Jefferson Counties.


Visitor Information

Gates open Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th at 8:00 am! Admission to the fair is $3.00 per adult, children and youth under 18 years of age are free.

Friday at the fair is packed full of school group tours, FFA exhibits, Dairy and Beef Cattle shows, Poultry and Rabbit judging, Bossy Bingo and an ice cream social! Saturday there will be a horse show, children’s games, cake walk and recognitions and raffles. Exhibitor Information

New & important information for this year!

Hammond Fair will be enforcing all vaccination and health requirements for cattle in accordance with NYS Ag and Markets Animal Health Guidelines. Any animal that does not follow the required guidelines will NOT be permitted to stay and be shown at the Hammond Youth Fair.  A Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) will be required to check your animal into the fair. Click HERE for some helpful tips to get your cattle ready for the Fair.

All Poultry to be exhibited must be screened for Pullorum. A Pullorum clinic will be held at the Hammond Fairgrounds on Monday August 17th from 4-7 pm for those exhibitors wishing to attend.

Check-in for ALL animals will take place on Thursday, September 10th, from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. No animals will be allowed to be placed in their exhibitor spaces before that time. Beef and dairy cattle will be checked in by the NYS Veterinarian on site. All other animals will be checked by the Superintendent of each department.

For all cattle, goat and sheep exhibitors: Please see the attached links to a pre-registration form for your exhibits. By filling out this form you will help the Department Superintendents ensure that exhibitors are allotted enough space for their animals. **** Links to forms coming soon****


Vendor Information

Hammond Fair welcomes any local craft, produce or other types of vendors to set up a booth on Saturday at the Fair! There is no fee to set up, but a donation of a item to our raffle auction would be greatly appreciated! Email us at hammondfair3@gmail.com if you are interested!
